Lady Tigger, we miss you.
This morning at 7:05 our cat passed away. Lady Tigger, one of the nicest, cutest, and most loving cats that I've ever met has passed away. I found her this morning between our bed and the wall, she had fallen and could not get back up from where she was. She had been very weak for almost a month, and has not eaten anything substantial for over a week. She has been barely able to walk from being so weak, and that is why she could not get back up from where she was. My wife and I carefully got her up from where she was, and she was still with us at that point. We covered her with a nice warm towel to help warm her up because she was so cold. It was obvious to us all that she would not be with us much longer, she couldn't even make a noise when she tried to meow. As my wife was holding her wrapped in her nice warm towel, she silently, and painlessly, passed away, held in the warm loving arms of the woman who has loved her so much for just shy of 17 years. Lady was just days away from her 17th birthday. Lady, we love you, and we miss you.

I just clicked "next blog" and came across your post. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. My 16 year old cat died in August so I know how you feel. My sympathies to your family.
I'm so sorry to hear about Lady's passing. I know how much you all loved her. Please give your girls my love and tell K to call my cell this weekend if she needs me.
Sorry about your loss. I lost my cat who got hit by a car in June and hung in there -- but weak and failing until July or so...and I was with him as the vet put him down...due to the lack of thriving. It was hard to do. By the way....I'm sylvie's daughter (above) Nice to meet you and happy blogging!
I am very sorry to hear about Lady Tigger. I am sure that was and is very hard for all of you. When my parents lost their cat it was very hard for them. They put pictures of him (Leo) around and that seemed to help. Sorry for the sad news.
